Job Vacancy: Teaching Assistant (SEN Department) - Secondary School, Swinton

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our SEN department, working with KS3 and KS4 students at a vibrant secondary school in Swinton.

Role Overview:

  • Position: Teaching Assistant (SEN)
  • Location: Secondary School, Swinton
  • Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
  • Department: SEN (Special Educational Needs)
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Working Hours: 8am - 4pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Pay: Up to £100 per day

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within the UK school system is essential.
  • Ideally, experience working in a secondary school environment.
  • Ability to support students with varying learning needs and provide a nurturing learning atmosphere.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A patient, compassionate approach with a focus on student development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting SEN students in both group settings and on a one-to-one basis.
  • Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning plans.
  • Helping students achieve their individual learning goals.
  • Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to ensure high-quality support.
